Clapham Park Regeneration Programme
JGD District Heating was appointed by a leading UK heat network developer, investor and operator to deliver specialist heat network infrastructure as part of the Clapham Park regeneration programme in South London.
The scheme is one of the capital’s most significant estate regeneration programmes and will ultimately deliver approximately 4,000 new and refurbished homes, more than half of which will be affordable.
JGD was appointed by the organisation responsible for the long-term ownership and operation of the heat network, placing particular importance on the quality, reliability and long-term performance of the installed infrastructure.
JGD’s scope uses Series 2 single pre-insulated pipework with fusion-welded BandJoint systems. Welding is undertaken to a Class 1 procedure and is subject to 100% NDT testing, providing comprehensive quality assurance throughout the installation.
