JGD District Heating was appointed by a major UK housebuilding client to deliver heat network infrastructure for a residential regeneration scheme after a competitive tender process.
The development will provide 225 new homes, including a significant proportion of council housing, plus improvements to local roads, public spaces, and connectivity.
JGD has worked with this client over a number of years, supporting the delivery of specialist heating infrastructure across multiple developments.
The heat network uses Series 3 insulated twin pipework, selected for its high level of thermal efficiency and low heat loss. The specification has been developed to support long-term operational performance for the network owner and residents of the new development.
