Insulated with polyurethane (PUR) foam, and an outer casing of polyethylene (PE-HD and soft, drawn seamless copper service pipe), LOGSTOR copper pre-insulated pipes are fully compliant with BS EN253 making them suitable for district heating and domestic hot and cold-water applications.

As a bonded system with the insulation and outer casing are moulded together to form a solid unit, they are available in lengths of 6 and 12 metres and include two copper wires for use with leak surveillance systems. LOGSTOR copper pre-insulated pipes meet the following temperature and pressure ratings:

• Calculated continuous operating temperature = 120°C
• Maximum short peak operating temperature = 140°C
• Calculated continuous surface temperature = 50°C
• Operating pressure = 25 bar
