Shrinkable Joints System for Pre-Insulated Pipe Systems

As with all other LOGSTOR jointing systems, the SX-WPJoint system is designed to provide maximum safety and durability, while at the same time maintaining heat loss at an absolute minimum.

The SX-WPJoint casing joint is constructed of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and is designed to take full advantage of the unique properties of this remarkably resilient and durable material.

Therefore, this joint system is explicitly designed to remain sealed for the duration of its service life. The following are just some of the LOGSTOR SX-WPJoint system’s highlights:

• Fully compliant with, and considerably exceeds EN489 standards
• A single system for all joints
• The unique molecular structure of cross-linked polyethylene ensures the casing joint remains firmly in place
• Remains completely sealed throughout its service life
• Can be shrunk in two dimensions, making it especially ideal for reduction joints

Three Types of Joints

The LOGSTOR SX-WPJoint family features three different types of casing joint:

• SX-WPJoint (A straight joint)
• SXB-WPJoint (A bend joint enabling bends at any required angle during installation)
• SXT-WPJoint (A T-joint)

To help ensure an uncontaminated install, the joints are sealed in plastic during shipping to protect against contamination by moisture, dirt, or other debris until delivery.
